One of the last survivors of the old guard, Allan Lamb continues to defy the years and entertain cricket followers with his brand of courageous batting and his entertaining approach to the game. With over 4600 Test runs, including 14 Test hundreds for England and over 100 one-day international appearances, he has been one of the most successful batsman of his generation.

In his autobiography, Lamb recalls the events in his life that helped make him a thorn in the side of fast bowlers around the world.
