In Touching Distance (Inscribed)

This is the story of a family that rebelled against city life. They took what many would see as the ultimate step, selling up in the city to move to a woodcutter's cottage in one of Africa's beautiful forests. The Ebersohn family left Johannesburg's traffic, smog, crime and frantic pace for the rustle of leaves, bird sounds, misty ravines and the welcoming darkness of forest paths. And they stayed away for almost seven years. Non of those who undertook this singular journey of discovery in the Knysna Forest were unaffected by it.
