Bookdealers began as a weekly flea market stall in downtown Johannesburg in the 1980s. Our first store was in Yeoville and Bookdealers has since grown into a well known book-dealing enterprise with outlets and mobile sales teams located throughout greater Johannesburg.

We are expanding our services online, so that customers can buy directly through the website and have the option of having their books posted to them countrywide, or of collecting from one of our branches.

At Bookealers we sell collectable and used books in addition to offering a range of remaindered books sourced from around the world. 

Some of our stores also buy books, offering cash or credit. Please take note that as shop and buyer preferences differ, contacting the stores directly is necessary when wanting to sell books. We also offer loyalty schemes and gift vouchers.
